Shown is the extensive headquarters in Belmont, Massachusetts, and the West Coast regional offices in San Marino, California. Every aspect of the John Birch Society is examined — its publishing house known as Western Islands, its two magazines American Opinion and Review of the News, its chain of over four hundred book stores and reading rooms, its nation-wide speakers bureau, its youth program, and its organizational structure. Membership activities also are shown as they unfold from one end of the country to the other. Of special interest is a brief biographical look at the founder of The John Birch Society, Mr. Robert Welch."
