Newlyweds Miguel "Mike" Vargas (Mike) Vargas and his wife Susie (Janet Leigh) are newlyweds. Susie Vargas is moved from her Mexican hotel to a remote American motel to escape the unwanted attention of "Uncle" Joe Grandi (Akim Tamiroff), the brother of a man Vargas has been investigating, to strike a deal to discredit Vargas.
