Complete Record: A group of doctors perform surgery on a patient. CU of a a hand placing a ribbon of oxidized regenerated cellulose next on a flat surface. CU of a DOG’s liver being cut open and the cellulose is used to absorb the blood. A scalpel is run over the organ and the doctor shows the inner part. The absorption is juxtaposed with ordinary gauze placed in a syringe. Both the gauze and the cellulose are implanted in an organ.
