A Midsummer night's dream: introduction to the play

Excerpts from the play are used to introduce the audience to the setting of the play, to explain the basic structure of the plot and to familiarise students with specific characters and their relationships with one another. Selected scenes, speeches and actions are presented to motivate keener interest and a clearer understanding of the play.
