Description: Made to improve the relations of the Commonwealth Public Service with the public, this film focuses attention on three important factors in giving service: the need for suitable office facilities in the form of counters, reception desks and entrances to government offices; The desirability of selecting counter staff and receptionists who have an aptitude for their work, expressed in the right approach to the public over the counter; the importance of systematic training for counter staff and receptionists in the fundamental and details of their jobs.
