A Day at the dump

Description: A case history examining the folly of haphazard waste disposal. For 25 years, a quarter of a million tons of municipal refuse a year went up in smoke at a Washington dump. Depicts the conditions before funds for a comprehensive waste disposal program were made available. (The solution is presented in “Burn, bury or what?”)
