Barony of Calafia (San Diego and Imperial County Chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism) holds an armored tournament in Balboa Park. The SCA is a not-for-profit, educational, and historical organization dedicated to reliving and recreating the Middle Ages, as they should have been, from approximately the latter Roman era to 1650 A.D.
