1973 Found 8mm Film - Dirt Bike Motorcycle Riding @ Jackson Dr & Mission Gorge Rd, San Diego

Another garage sale find. 8mm film, shot near the intersection of Jackson Dr. & Mission Gorge Rd. in San Diego, whilst San Carlos neighborhood development was underway. Apparently folks rode their dirt bikes here at that time. The two houses seen in the first few seconds of the film are 6654 and 6660 Hemingway Dr. You can see the peaks of what is now Mission Trails Regional Park in the background. There's still a mountain bike track in this area, just on the northwest side of Mission Gorge Rd. Sorry for the poor colors in the film- it was very badly exposed, and I did what I could with it to preserve this brief snapshot in time. Scanned with Moviestuff Retroscan Universal.
