Description: This compilation reel of silent footage of the 1969 Southwestern Sun Carnival events gives a behind the scenes look at some of the events. Spectators gather and marchers line up in position at the start of the parade. At the airport, a host of greeters, including the fleet of Duchesses' white Cadillac convertibles await the Sun Bowl teams' arrivals. Also on the reel is silent footage of some of the banquet meals, the Sun Queen coronation, and footage of the basketball tournament.
