[Music] it didn't take too long to finish the job we waited until key wall looked it over carefully after all this big cage could be a trap for us of course Nipper wanted to be the first in line to see the people they sure look strange seeing them close up like that they looked something like us except that they were so big and they were all covered up from head to [Music] toe it was fun being on the outside looking in at those humans and they were lucky they could come and go as they pleased after a while we learned that just like us there are different kinds of people [Music] too some of them teased us but they all brought food and we had no objection to [Music] that [Music] they laugh to see Nipper get his hand stuck when he grabbed a peanut but he was only pretending people are so easily [Music] amused the man built a swimming pool for us too we older monkeys only go in waiting but the youngsters like to [Music] swim Chico was afraid of falling as he looked at the little fish far below but some of his Playmates dive right off the roof it takes nerve to make that [Music] jump different people came every day and we never got tired of watching them and we worked out a new game the bucket in the well they always filled it up with peanuts we really had a swell time eating all the extra special things the people gave us Nipper kept the Persian for himself and tomatoes oh yes we like salad and oh boy I got a big piece of watermelon Kiwa had his favorite corn on the cob Chico had a real hard nut to a crack so that's how it is now that we've met the people and Nipper and the trapper man are great friends they sit and talk things over after the other people have left for the day the learned to understand us he doesn't look Nipper in the eye because he knows we monkeys don't like to be stared at humans are very nice once you get to know them our worries about being caught in a trap are gone forever and here in the leafy jungle around the big cage we have more fun than the barrel of people
