Staged story in which a Fox Movietone News crew drives around looking for the prettiest girl in New York. When a girl is spotted she is asked to audition at the studio. Filmed in front of the News Reel Theatre - Hearst Metronome News at 10th Avenue and West 54th Street. Marquees along the street read Rudy Valee "Vagabond Lover"; Winnie Lightner "The Gold Diggers"; "Disraeli"; Buddy Rogers - Jean Arthur - Ben Black and band; Nanking Royal; and Gloria Swanson, "The Love Parade." Several signs advertise talking pictures.
