13th World Jamboree

Description: The founder of scouting, Lord Baden Powell, was most impressed by Japan, and sixty years later the 13th World Jamboree was held on foothills of Mt. Fuji. Scouts from all over the world occupied seven thousand multicoloured tents for nine days. The theme was: “For Understanding” and to bring this about scouts demonstrated their various skills.
