Tony Gaudio
Italian American cinematographer (1883–1951)
Gaetano Antonio Gaudio, ASC was an Italian-American cinematographer. He is considered a pioneer of motion picture photography during the early 20th-century, and worked on some 150 productions between 1903 and 1949. He won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography for Anthony Adverse (1936), becoming the first Italian-born artist to win an Oscar, with an additional five nominations.
