Gallic chief (-100–-53)
Acco was an aristocrat who belonged to the Senones, a Gallic people who resided along the Seine in the 1st century BC. Around 57 BC, the Senones surrendered to the Roman legions as they invaded northern Gaul but in 53 BC, Acco conspired with members of the Senones and Carnutes to revolt against the Roman occupiers.
