What will Skip do - Spending Allowance (1968)

[Music] skip you've been asking for allowance and I'd like to come sit down and we'll tell you what Mother and Daddy decided okay now skip you've been asking for an allowance and Mother and Daddy talked it over and we decided that you're old enough to have some money we're going to try you with 50 cents a week now you understand that this is all you get um what happens if I spend too much well this is all the money that you get and we'll give you this and if you spend it that's all you get this week there won't be any more we want to see how you can handle the money honey before we give you anymore we have to do a good job of it okay yeah all right boys uh I want to talk to you a little bit about this trip that we're planning to take at our next meeting it'll be necessary that you each bring your quarter that we have talked about in the past this quarter is to cover the cost of the snack and the transportation for this little trip that we're planning now if you don't bring the quar you will not be able to go on the trip because it's planned so that each boy pays for his share of the trip now to go on to the clothes that we'll wear and the the food that we'll take uh this we'll discuss at the next meeting so that uh you boys will know what we're going to eat and what clothes to wear on this hike the hike that we're planning is is along a streamed and up into the mountains yeah it's really neat hey that's groovy can I you you sell it to me I got no I don't think so oh come on no oh come on okay I'll sell it to you for a quarter got four more of those things yeah it's really neat I'll give you the four other things in a while [Music] hey that looks great what is it it's cake and ice cream does it cost 15 cent I think I'll get [Music] some that'll be 15 cents please okay thank you [Music] oh hi Skip don't forget about the meeting tonight don't forget about your [Music] money okay now don't forget boys tomorrow's meeting is the last chance to bring in the 25 cents for our [Music] trip know that's all you get for this week [Music] hi Skip well skip what's the matter [Music]
