mr. driver I'm a veteran of World War two and I still have my GI term insurance but of course the premium goes up every five years is there anything I can do about this but there's something you can do jack but you do have a problem you and about two million other veterans have retained your term insurance it was a bargain when you took it out in your 20s but now they will approach middle age and even higher age groups it's not so much of a bargain we have seven permanent plans you can consider converting your term insurance into under any one of these permanent plans your premiums would remain the same from one year to the next I suggest you consider converting your term insurance so what I should do is just hike myself off to a Veterans Assistance Center or yes an assistance center or a VA hospital or a VA regional office any one of them would have people prepared to guide you thank you sir remember veterans for information about GI insurance and other benefits check with your local VA office
