CBPF.; Graduation ceremonies at the University of California, Berkeley were held on June 6, 1956 at California Memorial Stadium. The student speakers were Bernice Norine Bronsdon and William Sharp Floyd, Jr. The farewell address was given by the Chancellor of the University, Clark Kerr. The address to the graduates was given by the President of the University of California, Robert Gordon Sproul. The film is silent and consists of shots of the diploma boxes, shots of the stadium, slags, speaker's platform, preparations, sound booth, nurse's station, people arriving, filling stadium, faculty lining up, graduates filing into seats, faculty procession with military color guard, orchestra, speakers, graduates toss caps in the air, conferring honorary degrees, handing out diplomas, speaker, graduates and guests leaving the stadium.; PFA 1604-29-3762.
