oh I don't know maybe bowling dancing skating and whatnot and I think that's a beautiful idea from the teenagers point of view but I can't see any businessman going into that with any dream because if they take a moment here and probably tell you better than anyone else here just how much profit there isn't a cult for a sandwich or a malted milk and at pool tables it probably four hundred dollars defeat ping-pong tables if Rob's look for the thirty-five or forty dollars apiece don't take an awful lot of hopes to replace him and so I suggest maybe the dick talked in a nickels worth about the profit on coke George I don't think really a rain i can set up on a commercial basis it's hard to say because really i stand from two standpoints i mean i got a different trade other than your trade but don't get me wrong I still appreciate your business really uh there isn't too much profit because I know your kids by fig malts you like well pretty good sized sandwiches you just got to go ahead with that I really don't know what to say I know that we need a recreation some sort of facility here to accommodate you kids it would be you want to say simply her I think we have a double challenge here tonight from what I've read in the number of you who've written as teenagers you seek a sense of responsibility because I know that some of you have said in the section of the paper and the two have in The Chronicle that's about two years from now you're going to take all the responsibility in these one being in the armed forces all right here's the challenge make an offer to you if you're going to work for something and work with people to get it I think that you can find among the organizations in Toledo among the adults completo people who are willing to go along with you we've got a lot of things out in the open we realize how you feel that I think behind the whole thing is you want to have a part in this program you want it to be yours more than anything else you don't want all the direction that come from you and on the other hand I know the adult feels a responsibility that they have two more the teenagers that they have to do something to help in a recreation program I have an idea I don't know whether it will work or not we might form some sort of a conflict it might be formed on a semi-official basis by let us say the City Council and the school board getting together and they named for adults mikuni the blonde Department organization pending by some means we get for students in high school we set this up at the recreational council for Toledo that would give the young people the opportunity to share as equal responsibility for recreation and salado and that I think is what you want and that I hope is what we can offer you well herb laid out a specific suggestion here dr. Lambert darkman absolutely necessary which is that the adults help these young they need help and our idea is teenage in your recreations call what you make where are these boys girls will learn to conduct themselves and ladies and gentlemen that the boys learn to dance and lots to be horsing around and some other foolish thing now these teenagers are not responsible for this world they're not responsible for the automobile they're not responsible was a beer situation that we're messed up with and it's a disgrace and they're not responsible for the sexy movies they are not responsible for the marijuana that's coming into this state like today I don't know that any of these Chiefs the teenagers have ever indulged in marijuana but I have recently taken care of a teenager who has and I'm telling you that it's in this state and it's a dead for sale now these parents need help they're not adequate they're frustrated this is a terrible time nobody knows just where we're at nobody can tell us where what's going to happen tomorrow it's a matter of fact and I think that you'll all agree that your under the domination to the day of Jos top and our administration and our men at Washington don't seem to understand how to handle it and we're dancing to the tune the Joe Stalin plane and we just wonder when he's going to change the temple of the face and the sad part of it is that we gain even fiddle thank you doctor maybe we thought David fritsch I believe what you have an idea bringing up the idea this the parents are frustrated and your teenagers are frustrated nobody knows that they want we've let ourselves into a problem we don't know how are we going to get out we've got a few ideas that please listen to yours and we think my name's most disagree it's a good idea we expect to have adult leadership we want it we know you've had more experience and we have and we need that you
