Description: Doctor Howard Latimer answers a request for a favour from an American friend by picking up a famous German actress from London Airport. When the actress's body is later discovered in Latimer's flat, he is faced with questions from the police. DI DI Dane is initially sympathetic but as the evidence mounts up it increasingly seems as if only Latimer could have committed the murder. Latimer then works with the police to help unmask the criminal amongst his acquaintances.
