Description: This is a 1930 silent (soundtrack added) documentary, "The Story of Warm Springs". We believe it to have been produced in limited numbers by the Warm Springs Foundation. This copy was labeled as belonging to Paul G. Richter, who was on the board of directors for Warm Springs resort. We are unaware of any other existing copies of this, and plan to reach out to the F.D.R. Library/Warm Springs Foundation regarding the existence of this film. I could not find reference to the speech at the end to a source dating before Dec 1933, where he used that speech to kick off the beginning of his "Birthday Ball" polio fundraisers. Much of the film is composed of reversal duplicate printed film, which means quality of image is limited.
