THE MYSTERIOUS PARTY

Shot by an unknown amateur filmmaker, this silent horror film features a bacchanal New Year's party. It begins with imagery of a man running up a flight of stairs, apparently with someone in pursuit. It then cuts to wild party filled with debauchery. In one corner a mysterious, brooding figure watches the attendees as they drink, flirt and make out, take drugs and become more and more drunk, deranged and high. Then, with a flick of his hand, the mysterious stranger causes the party to come to an end. The film then cuts to the man who was being pursued at the start of the film; his pursuer has now caught up to him, and the consequences prove fatal.
