The Making of a King

Duration: 10 reels

Genre: Foreign Language Films

Format: 16mm

Sound: Sound

Credits: Cast: Emil Jannings

Description: Starring Emil Jannings in his greatest of all rolls. In this picture Emil Jannings plays the role of Wilhelm the First of Prussia, who was the father of Frederic the Great. It is an absorbing historical picture showing the making of Frederic the Great. It is a cajoling, ruthless, brutal and wistful portrait, beautiful and compelling . . . a drama that is unflaggingly absorbing and vastly interesting. The German dialogue is excellent.
