Description: George Orr is charged with misusing prescription medications to prevent him from dreaming. Orr has known since age 17 that his dreams change reality, and tries to prevent himself from dreaming because he fears their effects. Oneirologist William Haber begins to use Orr's "effective dreams" to create change in society. Haber uses Orr to create a machine that allows him to remake reality.
