Locates and describes the organs of the respiratory system, and shows in animation and live demonstration the mechanics of ventilation and the physics of diffusion between alveoli and capillaries. Illustrates the effect on the respiratory system of varying needs for oxygen, and the function of the respiratory system in providing needed oxygen and eliminating carbon dioxide.
