[The cage--promos]

Three promotional pieces for what appears to be a theatrical performance entitled, "The cage". Each piece features a short scene excerpt, followed by a freeze frame with the play's title superimposed. The scenes appear to deal with guilt and incarceration.; Edith Kramer recalls looking into the history of this, and finding indications that it was a promotional piece for a Living Theater play of the same name, circa late 1950's or early 1960's. Cataloger made brief attempt to verify this, but could find no reference to a play by that name in two works on the Living Theater, including a list of productions.; Approximate running time: 03:00.; Pacific Film Archive collection; non-circulating.
