Description: The final portion of Beethoven's 5th Symphony is presented by the orchestra in the opening of this film and the final number is the last portion of Wagner's "Tannhauser" Overture. The trumpets are demonstrated in an elaborate fanfare; the horn plays the Nocturne from Mendelssohn's "Midsummer Nights Dream," the trombone quartet presents the "Pilgrims' Chorus" from Tannhauser.
