Steam Trains of the Rocky Mountains - 1940s Footage in Brilliant Color | 4K 16mm Scan

Description: Silent 16mm Kodachrome footage spanning from 1942-1947 (based on film edge date codes) of various steam trains in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Showing Big Ten Curve, Glenwood Canyon/Depot, and more. Various freight trains, engines, reefer cars, etc. Shot on B&H Filmo 70 and Cine Kodak Special. Portions have some camera gate shake/shudder unfortunately; I applied minor stabilization in post to help correct some of it. Contact for Usage. Two Freights (second doubleheader) WB - crossing Glenwood Bridge over river. 14. LHS - snowcapped peak BG 15. Follow shot from car - in mountains. 16. Past depot (??) 17. Shot across Colo. River FG - Autumn colors - Mesa BG (near Rifle??) 18. Up and past cattle pens FG - Men working cattle in pens 19. Up to and past train on siding - many reefers in train. 20. Doubleheader up to and past station - good shot of two-arm semaphore. 21. Up and past depot (Palisade??) 22.
