SPEECH OF STUTTERERS BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT

Follows the speech of stutterers for eight years in order to demonstrate how their speech had varied due to stress and recovery; the handicap aspect of stuttering due to secondary environmental stress and strain; how the handicap phenomenon of stuttering can be eliminated in some stutterers; describes cases where fluency has improved or relapsed with the passage of time
