Description: Christopher Reeve plays Richard Collier, a successful playwright living in Chicago. Eight years later, Richard is obsessed with the idea of traveling back to 1912 and meeting Elise McKenna, a famous early 20th century stage actress. Richard tries to will himself into 1912 using tape-recorded suggestions, only to fail for lack of conviction. Richard awakens on June 27, 1912 to the sound of whinnying horses.
