Description: Pandit Shivprasad Tiwari, a wealthy contractor, lives in a big house in Lucknow. His family consists of his mother Daadi Maa, his second wife called Maaji by everyone, and his two sons Beni and Ratan. Meera (Shamim), a young widow with a small boy, lives with her mother, known as Maasi, who is distantly related to the family. Soon, a relationship develops between Meera and Beni which causes extreme alarm in the family and society.
