Sanderson, Joel - Fragmenten #1, experimental 1995

Fragmenten, experimental video. This originally came from a collaboration with Joep Van Liefland where I was playing with 16mm projections and wound up shooting the image onto his torso. Then while playing with the video I ran it through an early video projector with the settings turned down added a cheap solarizing effect. Since the footage was short I slowed the video image down as slow as the player would allow. The soundtrack is made up of the sound of the original session which was processed with a layer of synthesizer added.
