Description: Produced by Forrest E. Clements of the University of Oklahoma. The first motion picture recording of what has for generations been a jealously guarded ritual. The Southern Cheyenne tribe has long had in its possession four medicine arrows whose magic power is believed to shield the tribe from misfortune and evil. The arrows are sacred talismans. The Medicine man performs the ceremony and this ceremony has been recorded permanently through the medium of the motion picture film
