Rural Germany, ca. 1941 Restored Color Footage | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Interesting historical home movie dating to ~1941, of areas in rural Germany at the time seemingly unaffected by the war. I tried my best researching locations this film could have been taken, but came up empty-handed. Most shots of the film are just landscapes and farming, there is a scene with two soldiers; one Military Police (green uniform) and one of the Luftwaffe artillery (grey uniform); he is seen wearing a Anti-Aircraft Flak Battle Badge. A scene of a house with a swastika prominently adorned is also shown. This was shot on Agfacolor which does not hold up to time well, most notably in some form of branching fungus that causes discoloration. Film was color corrected and stabilized; I did what I could to minimize the visibility of the damage. I also cropped this film wider with sprocket holes visible, as whatever camera this was shot with shot at what was essentially "Super 16" captured outside of the standard frame area, giving a wider field of view.
