Pontiac - The Car That Outvalues Them All! (1938) Promo Film | 16mm Film Scan
Sign in to track this film in your collection or want list.
Short film produced by the Jam Handy corporation for Pontiac/General Motors to advertise the 1938 model year Pontiac cars. This film may be incomplete to some extent, as there wasn't a title.
Showcases engine technology, suspension, manufacturing of the cars.
Film was in pretty rough shape so its missing a few frames, and consequently parts of words here and there (Fully captioned with corrections). The marks you see moving around are from it being mis-threaded through a projector, getting holes punched in it by the sprocket wheel. Had to manually position nearly 100 frames since the film was so damaged.
Audio digitized with AEO-light, post-processed with Audacity.
