Description: Kannan (MGR) is a manager in charge of a collective farm who falls in love with Radha (Jayalalitha), daughter of the leader of the farm, Selvanayagam (S. A. Ashokan) When Ravi (R. Muthuraman) realizes that they are in love, he becomes vengeful. Rathnam (M. N. Nambiar) a drunkard officer steals and sells the farm's paddy. With the help of two women he had relationships and now pregnant, he frames Kanna for theft, fraud and rape.
