Description: Hercule Poirot is returning to England aboard the Orient Express in December 1935. The case involves the murder of Samuel Ratchett, a businessman who was found stabbed to death in his cabin. The murderer was a Mafia gangster who five years earlier carried out the kidnapping and killing of Daisy Armstrong, the infant daughter of wealthy British Army Colonel Hamish Armstrong. A French maidservant named Paulette committed suicide, only to be found innocent later.
