Madeline is scared neither of mice nor of tigers, and she is mischevious. Midway through the film she comes down with appendicitis and is rushed to the hospital. She receives flowers and gifts, and shows her scar to the other girls. The film ends with the eleven other girls crying to their matron at night, wishing they could have their appendix out as well.--Peter De Domenico, 6/94.; PFA 1604-01-5257. D0004; PFA 1604-01-5904.
