(Swedish) An authentic story of Lapland. Actually produced on location. Dialogue in the Lapland language with English titles. Aslak Laajie rescued a sleeping baby from wolves, adopted the baby, loved her, and called her Laila. This picture not only unfolds an interesting story, but it portrays the life and ways of the Laplander, with their great herds of reindeer. The Laps wander through the land in search of food for their animals, or spend the winter camped out in tents. A most unusual picture. (Recommended for curriculum enrichment.)
