This is the life of our country in the 1780's, picturing travel along the Wilderness Road, the role of the frontier forts, and the settlers' establishment of new homes. Weaving, soap-making, moccasin, candle molding, carpentry, cabin construction, schooling and square dancing are among the activities of the time. "Fine picture showing work of one group of people of Kentucky. A bit artificial, but increases teaching and learning possibilities.
