Jack and the Beanstalk

The famous story is told here from the morning after Jack's trading adventure—he climbs the beanstalk, escapes with the Giant's treasures, but on being pursued, takes refuge in a Lilliputian village. This new twist adds charm to the oft-told tale, and the siege of the Giant's castle by the little folk is quite exciting.
