A USOE film. A new girl worker is told to do a job on the drill press. She fails to master the job and when shown how to do it, she is told not work and in distress she leaves the machine. The supervisor then does a careful job of instructing the next girl who becomes a competent operator. Thus the difference between telling, showing, and instructing is made clear.
