Inductive Teaching: How the Historian Deals with Mindset

Shows that a historian's frame of reference is a product of his culture and that it may be so rigid as to prevent accurate reporting and/or interpreting of events. Demonstrates several ways to recognize unstated assumptions, whether evidence supports a hypothesis, and assesses the degree to which the statements in an article are factually accurate.
