A 1966 version was produced as a three-screen projection to celebrate the Sacred Mushroom rite at a solstice celebration. This is a wedded print. The end footage of this version is shorter, and contains different superimpositions and effects not in earlier versions. Soundtrack from Electric Light Orchestra's Eldorado album added in the 1970s.; First released as a motion picture in 1954.; Pacific Film Archive collection; non-circulating. Access by appt. only. The Scarlet Woman, whore of heaven, smokes a big, fat joint ; Astarte of the moon brings the wings of snow ; Pan bestows the grapes of Bacchus ; Hecate offers the sacred mushroon, yage, wormwood brew. The vintage of Hecate is poured. Pan's cup is poisoned by Lord Shiva. The orgy ensues - a magick masquerade at which Pan is the prize. Lady Kali blesses the rites of the children of light as Lord Shiva invokes the godhead with the formula 'Force and Fire'.
