Description: Barnabas Collins is a 175-year-old vampire who enslaves the Collins family of Collinwood. He is introduced to the family under the guise of a "cousin from England" He is smitten with Jeff's girlfriend, Maggie Evans, and is attracted to her as she bears a striking resemblance to his long-lost fiancée, Josette du Pres. Carolyn Stoddard is bitten by the vampire and Carolyn's former fiancé Todd is staked, killing her. Julia discovers he is the vampire responsible and gives him injections to walk in the daylight.
