Filmed entirely from the air--from the North Cape to the Bosphorus--reveals the features, ancient capitals and historic lands in a new dimension, as the pinnacles of Notre Dame, the Alps with Mont Blanc and the slopes of the Acropolis reach upwards towards the camera. Describes the ceaseless watch maintained by the NATO air forces for the security of the air. Narrated by Orson Welles.
