GENETICS: MENDEL'S LAWS

Scenes photographed in Gregor Mendel's own garden in Brno, Czechoslovakia, add authenticity to this presentation of the original work with pea plants, which has become the basis of the present science of genetics. Duplicates some of Mendel's experiments, and explains his laws of dominance, segregation, and independent assortment. Describes later work by De Vries, Correns, Morgan, and Muller.
