The film begins with sound only: the bells of a train. For a brief moment, live footage of a person seated on the train with the passing landscape as backdrop is seen. As the sound of the train moving begins, outlined rotoscope images of a train conductor walking down the aisles appears. Mt. Fuji is seen outside the window. These images are then elaborated on away from the rotoscope, creating almost abstract geometric forms that frequently overlap and change colors. At the end, the live action footage of the person on the train reappears.; PFA 1604-01-2682.
