FromFilm (Brian Durham) behind the scenes

hello Bryan here today we're going to show some behind-the-scenes footage going to describe the machine that I used to transfer film to video what this is is this is a sniper 16 Pro that I bought back in 2007 or so what it is it is a repurposed film protector it has a video camera pointed at the film and that has that goes out to s-video which goes down to my little firewire box and to the computer and that's how it gets captured and what we're gonna do today is I'm trying to do screen capture and this at the same time which should be interesting I have a tab Kohler commercial that I bought queued up so let's see what happens I'm going to try to screen capture and show what's going on someone go ahead and start recording over here and we'll split into the screen capture while this is going on so they go and do start recording and start the motor and hit start [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] stop there and power and what I'm gonna do next is we're going to do a speed change on this thing which is essentially it's post-processing so let me come down to where I have where it says to have right here way down what I'm going to do is this sixteen millimeter and we're going to do is we're going to add we want 24 frames per second we won't sound so I want to go ahead and click on check pending and then we're gonna do a process yes we're gonna cross this an MTS see because we're in North America here's processing and it looks like processing is done oh okay so what we're gonna do now is I'm going to show you and this it'll be the first time that I've seen this commercial or you as well so let's go ahead and double-click on the sucker and we'll do a play on it and see what it looks like there's some green leader from Brian's green leader a teapot here we go [Music] goodbye sugar it was great fun great we've just one other thing the coca-cola company introduces tab without sugar just one calorie in six ounces you know there are diet colas with sugar but there's no sugar in tab good bye sugar bye hello sugar free tab [Music] and that's it that's the commercial looks like I'm gonna edit it probably will split out the ABC pumper from the commercial itself and those will be separate uploads but this is some behind the scenes I there behind the scenes video thanks for watching and more commercials later
