Forgive Us Our Debts

Jesus is telling His followers this story: A debtor appears before his King, and is unable to pay his debts. The King relents and forgives him. Later the debtor is seen in the home of a man who owes him a tiny sum. He threatens and finally drags the man to prison, despite the pleas of the poor man and his wife. Once more the rich debtor appears before the King, but this time the ruler has heard of his injustice, and casts him, too, into prison, where his poor debtor comforts him, and washes the wounds left by the whip of the floggers.
