Flying Squadron

Episode 1 of Officer 444 (10 two-reel episodes). This serial glorifies the American Policeman, and was filmed in cooperation with August Volmer, the famous criminologist. Every episode is interesting from beginning to end and it brings them back for ten successive weeks. At the same time, the film is especially suitable for schools and is also rather timely, because of the publicity now being given to the control of crime. This film is especially made to help this situation. Unlike many films, it does not glorify crime, or make one desirous of entering a criminal life, but just the reverse. It sends the audience away knowing that crime, under any circumstances, does not pay. There is no unseemly situation of any kind in this picture, and we recommend it to churches, schools, and clubs all alike.
